ABOUT THE GAME

Drunken Duel is a physics-based shooting game where control is never fully in your hands. You play as a ragdoll stickman duelist whose arms wobble, legs buckle, and balance constantly shifts. Every match feels unpredictable, even when you think you are in control. The wild west setting, goofy sound effects, and exaggerated physics turn simple gunfights into tense and funny standoffs.

This game works best as a local two-player experience, but you can also play solo against the CPU. With just one main button to manage, the challenge comes from timing and patience rather than complex controls. Each round is short, but winning consistently takes real understanding of how the physics behave.

How to Play

Each duel starts with both characters barely able to stand upright. Your goal is to land a clean shot on your opponent before they do the same to you. Because your arms swing freely, shooting at the right moment matters more than aiming carefully.

Rounds end quickly once a hit connects. After each round, characters reset and the next duel begins. The first player to land enough winning shots takes the match.

Press the assigned shoot key to fire your weapon
Holding the key slightly longer raises your arm before shooting

There is no movement control. Your character’s balance and arm swing are driven entirely by physics.

Tips & Strategies

Wait for your arm to swing upward before shooting instead of firing immediately.
Short taps work better at close range, while longer holds help with higher shots.
Watch your opponent’s arm movement to predict when they will fire.
Avoid panic shooting after a miss. Let your character rebalance first.
In later rounds, aim slightly earlier than you think due to delayed arm motion.

Many players think Drunken Duel rewards fast reactions, but it actually favors controlled patience. One of the biggest turning points is knowing when to play aggressively and when to wait. If you fire the moment your arm twitches, you usually waste the shot. Good players let the swing peak, even if that means waiting longer than feels comfortable.

Defensive play matters more after a missed shot. Instead of instantly firing again, let your character settle. The physics punish impatience, especially when both players are frantic. Aggressive shooting works best only when your opponent is already off balance. Understanding this rhythm is what separates players who win occasionally from those who dominate multiple rounds in a row.
