You are locked in a prison cell with one goal: get out. Dig Out of Prison is a casual escape game where patience, planning, and smart upgrades matter more than speed. Armed with basic tools and a lot of determination, you dig underground tunnels, collect hidden valuables, and slowly build your way toward freedom.

The game mixes idle-style digging with light strategy. Every action you take carries risk. Dig too carelessly or move at the wrong time, and the guard may catch you in the act. Play smart, trade wisely, and keep your escape hidden.

How to Play

Your journey starts inside your prison cell. Dig through the ground beneath you to uncover resources like dirt, valuables, and special items. Once you collect loot, sell it to other inmates or guards to earn the prison’s main currency: toilet paper.

Use your earnings to buy better tools, increase digging speed, and unlock upgrades that help you dig deeper and faster. As you progress, tunnels become longer and more dangerous, so planning your route is just as important as upgrading your gear.

Above all, stay hidden. Guards patrol regularly, and getting caught outside your cell or exposing your tunnel can set you back.
