Cut the Rope: Magic brings a fresh twist to the classic rope-cutting formula by adding magical transformations and clever new puzzle mechanics. Instead of only cutting ropes and collecting stars, you now help Om Nom change forms to overcome obstacles, reach candy, and defeat a mischievous wizard. Each level feels familiar yet different, combining physics-based puzzles with creative problem-solving that rewards patience and observation.

How to Play

Each level starts with a piece of candy suspended by ropes, platforms, or magical objects. Your goal is to guide the candy into Om Nom’s mouth while collecting up to three stars along the way. The wizard often interferes by stealing the candy or blocking paths, forcing you to think ahead.

As you progress, Om Nom gains magical forms that change how he interacts with the environment. Some forms let him stick to walls, others make him heavy, stretchy, or able to float. Understanding when to transform and how gravity affects the candy is key to solving later puzzles.

Levels are short but layered. One small mistake can send the candy flying out of reach, so timing and order of actions matter more than speed.

Tips & Strategies

Always study the full level before making your first cut. Many puzzles require actions in a specific order.
Do not rush transformations. Switching Om Nom’s form too early can block the candy’s natural path.
Use gravity as a tool. Let the candy swing and build momentum instead of cutting ropes immediately.
If the wizard is present, focus on limiting his movement first before going for stars.
Replay levels to experiment. Sometimes the easiest solution is not the most obvious one.
Try collecting stars on the second attempt. Solving the puzzle once helps you plan a cleaner run.
