Takeover is a real-time strategy game where careful decisions matter more than fast clicking. You lead a medieval clan with one clear goal: expand your territory and eliminate rival forces. Each match unfolds on a connected map of lands, castles, and resource points. Every move you make affects how quickly you can grow, defend, or attack.

Unlike complex RTS games that overwhelm players with menus, Takeover keeps the rules simple. You send squads between regions, capture neutral lands, and build strength over time. The challenge comes from timing and positioning. Enemy clans, undead armies, and monsters all compete for control, forcing you to think ahead instead of reacting late.

# How to Play

Each level begins with your starting territory and a few nearby regions to conquer. Your lands slowly generate units. Sending units to another territory weakens your base temporarily, so expanding too fast can backfire.

Your main objective is to capture all enemy territories on the map. Neutral lands provide safe expansion early, while enemy-held regions require calculated attacks. Edicts unlock during gameplay and offer temporary bonuses such as faster unit growth or stronger attacks.

Winning depends on reading the map correctly. Sometimes defense is smarter than expansion, especially when multiple enemies are nearby.

Many players lose early in Takeover because they confuse speed with progress. Expanding too fast feels powerful, but it often creates weak territories that enemies can steal easily. The real skill is knowing when to pause and consolidate.

Good players treat the map like a puzzle. They look for regions that connect multiple enemy lands and prioritize those targets. Capturing a key junction can stop an opponent from growing without fighting them directly. Another mistake is saving Edicts for too long. These bonuses are meant to shift momentum. Using them at the right moment can turn a losing battle into a winning one.

What separates average players from strong ones is patience. Waiting a few seconds for units to build before attacking often decides the entire match.
