ABOUT THE GAME

TenTrix is a block puzzle game that rewards planning over speed. Inspired by classic block games but built around a fixed 10x10 grid, it challenges you to think several moves ahead. Instead of falling blocks, you are given a set of shapes that cannot be rotated. Your task is to place them wisely, clear full lines, and keep the board from filling up.

The simplicity of TenTrix is what makes it addictive. There is no timer, no pressure to react quickly, and no complicated rules. Every mistake, however, stays on the board. This makes each decision important, especially as the grid slowly fills and space becomes harder to manage. The game works smoothly on both desktop and mobile, making it ideal for short sessions or long strategy-focused play.

How to Play

In TenTrix, you receive a group of block shapes. You must place all available shapes onto the 10x10 grid before getting a new set. When a full horizontal or vertical line is completed, it clears automatically, creating more space.

The game ends when none of the current shapes can fit on the grid. Since shapes cannot be rotated, placement becomes a puzzle of foresight rather than reaction.

Tips & Strategies

Always look for ways to keep the center of the board open.
Avoid creating isolated gaps that only specific shapes can fill.
Place large, awkward blocks first before smaller flexible ones.
Clear lines steadily instead of waiting for big clears.
Think two or three moves ahead before placing the first block.

Most players lose in TenTrix not because the board fills too fast, but because of early careless placements. The biggest trap is focusing only on clearing a line immediately instead of shaping the board for future blocks. This often creates narrow holes that only one specific piece can fill. When that piece does not appear, the game quickly spirals out of control.

Experienced players treat TenTrix like a space management puzzle. They accept that sometimes it is better not to clear a line right away if it keeps the grid flexible. Another common misunderstanding is saving small blocks for later. Small pieces are often the most powerful tools for fixing mistakes, and using them too early can limit recovery options. Patience and restraint are what separate average scores from high ones.
