ABOUT THE GAME

Spikes & Feathers is a minimalist arcade game that tests your sense of timing more than your reaction speed. You control a small bird flying through a narrow, hand-drawn world filled with sharp spikes and tight gaps. The goal is simple: stay alive as long as possible. The challenge comes from how precisely you tap to control the bird’s height and rhythm.

Unlike fast-paced runners, this game rewards calm decision-making and steady control. Every tap matters. Fly too high and you hit spikes above. Drop too low and you crash below. The environment feels peaceful at first, but small mistakes quickly end a run, making each attempt a lesson in control.

How to Play

Your bird moves forward automatically. Your only task is to control vertical movement and avoid obstacles.

Tap to flap upward.
Release to let the bird fall naturally.
Thread through gaps between spikes.
Survive for as long as possible and improve your best run.

The game gradually increases pressure by placing obstacles closer together. There is no finish line, only your personal limit.

Skilled players treat the bird like it is floating, using gravity as part of the movement instead of fighting it.
